PIEDMONT HIGH SCHOOL After-School Centers: Aspire Education Project ran an independent After-School Center at Piedmont during the 2005-2006 School Year. The Center services included drop-in supervised study and individual tutoring. Families using the center paid weekly fees and Aspire provided scholarships covering fees for families in need. In 2006-2007 Aspire Education Projec merged its center with Piedmont High School’s grant-funded After-School Study Support Center. We provided support for students in advanced math classes as well as individual tutoring to students at the center. The center was free and open to all students. Other Services: Aspire Education Project provided educators to support a math class at Piedmont High during a teacher’s prolonged absence. |
