Classroom Aids

Aspire Education Project Classroom Aids: professional educators who can bring focused help to particular classroom situations, assisting a teacher with projects for the class as a whole or working to support struggling students. They have expertise in particular academic subjects and in dealing with a variety of student needs.

AEP-Trained College Volunteers: Aspire Education Project trains college volunteers who are interested in pursing careers in education to be effective and efficient classroom aides. We tailor the training to suit the needs of specific schools and individual teachers. These volunteers provide excellent subject expertise and serve as near-peer role models to the students they help while also learning from the teachers they assist.

Proctored Exams

Aspire Education Project will provide proctored SAT and ACT exams on campus, including a results report for each student. This is a great opportunity for students to practice. We recommend that students take a practice ACT around the same time that they take the PSAT in order to determine which test is right for them. We can also provide counseling to students regarding this choice (See Student Seminars).
