AT HOME ACADEMIC TUTORING

Families come to Aspire Education Project for at-home tutoring services for a variety of reasons. Some students are very bright, but for one reason or another need a little extra explanation of a particular subject in order for it to really sink in. Some students have no difficulty understanding the content of their classes but are struggling because they need to work on organizational skills, time management and efficient study habits. Other students may have found themselves enrolled in classes for which they were not properly prepared and need some foundational help. Many students will have a combination of these characteristics. At Aspire Education Project we are ready to help all students succeed and get the most out of their classes.

Our tutors provide one-on-one individualized help with subject content as well as guidance for improving study skills. Students typically sign up for one to two hours a week of academic tutoring, but schedules are flexible and can change depending on the student’s immediate needs. We match tutors and students carefully; a good match can create a relationship that gets the student over a particular obstacle in a month or two or it can provide continuing support that lasts for years.
